Welcome, everyone! I’m a software engineer at CrowdCompass by Cvent living in Portland, Oregon. I got my start coding as a volunteer organizer for Women Who Hack and Hack + Help, and as a volunteer with Code Scouts. From there, I attended the Ruby on Rails class at Portland Code School and became a contributor to Calagator. Most recently, I co-chaired Open Source Bridge 2016.
I’m passionate about building a sustainable life and community, and working toward a more equitable and just world.
I mostly do non-code things outside of work, like gardening and working on my house, but you can see my open source contributions on GitHub. As you might have noticed, I’ve disabled comments here to encourage people to converse with me directly, preferably through Twitter. If you’d like to talk in more depth, though, please feel free to email me directly.
As always, comments here are my own and do not represent the views of my employer or any organizations I work with.
